During the the first World War, returning Australian soldier's were given parcel of land to farm known as the Soldiers Settle Scheme. This wine is to acknowledge and try to preserve the remaining old vineyards. Part of the proceeds of the Soldier's Lane label will also be donated to the South Australian Returned & Services League.
