Onannon Single Vineyard 'Tuerong' Chardonnay

Fruit was whole bunch-pressed and then sent straight to barrell (33% new oak), fermented with indigenous yeasts. Of the three barrels, one was sulphered three weeks after fermentation to prevent malolactic fermentation, one barrel was sulphered three months to build some texture on lees, then the last barrel was left unsulphered all year to go through malolactic fermentation.  

Pronounced aromas of classy oak, nutmeg spice, white flowers and sweet fruit. Fresh nectarines, fibre of cedarwood with a lingering finish.
